The global search for natural resources has led developers into progressively more remote areas from subarctic to tropical. Massive natural resource projects require the ability to sustain workforces in areas with little or no preexisting infrastructure. Early works generally require a construction accommodation village, facilities infrastructure, and dedicated turnkey utilities. Executing these works requires on the ground know how, an advanced supply chain, and the ability to manifest a large labor force. That is why Pacific Rim has genuine local content in each of our developed operational areas, a global supply chain, and industry-leading field expertise in providing multiple solutions for temporary and semi-permanent remote camp facilities.

Pacific Rim has manufacturing in Europe and Asia, enabling us to design and construct a variety of solutions to senior and junior accommodation, common buildings, recreation halls, guard houses, administration, medical buildings, and utilities buildings. We have hundreds of designs to meet local codes, space requirements, workforce activity, and space considerations.

Scopes covered:

• Turnkey design, fabrication oversight, supply, construction, hand over; lump sum contracts, supply contracts, and installation supervision.
• Camp Accommodation – Senior and Junior living, ablutions, sauna/spa, and shared space
• Offices – Administrative, medical facilities and clinics, guard houses
• Common buildings – Kitchens, dining halls/canteens, recreation halls, gyms, mosques and churches, laundry
• Full utilities and systems –water treatment, waste treatment, water storage, electrical generation; all systems.
• Camp and office refurbishment

Solutions provided:

• Volumetric Units – Rapidly installed and highly versatile, units are shipped fully erected, these units can be designed to stack and create multi-level buildings or single level designs. Units can be ordered pre-wired, pre-plumbed, and available with various HVAC solutions. • Trans-Pack Units – Shipped in a compact form and erected on site, Trans-Packs are easily transported and can be built rapidly. Units are available pre-wired, pre-plumbed, furnished, and with HVAC options. Requireing 1/3 of the space of a fully constructed module, trans-pack units save time and money, and provide a long-term solution in a short amount of time. • Containerized – Camps built into shipping containers allow for mobility, comfort, and protection from the elements. Containers can be either stand-alone, or be built into each other, creating shared, protected space and also accommodation units. • Specialty Units- We provide specialty units, built into a 20’ or 40’ ISO container-size configuration, these units can provide:

• Kitchens – We have manufactured, supplied, and constructed over thirty kitchens in the previous decade:
  - Containerized – Built into a 20’ or 40’ container
  - Modular – Built into a modular camp, supplied in either transpack or volumetric (pre-standing) designs
  - Trailerized
