Bill Davis, CEO

Bill Davis has been the CEO of Pacific Rim Constructors since 2010. As a founding member, Bill has been with the company since its 2001 inception and has helped grow the business globally in remote and challenging environments such as Russia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Papua New Guinea, Guyana, Panama, Mozambique, Somalia, and Mauritania. This has been achieved through working with a client base that comprises sector giants like ExxonMobil, Shell, Chevron, Fluor Daniel, CB&I and Bechtel.

Bill spent the early part of his career overseas building and expanding Sodexo’s footprint in the Eurasia region before venturing out on his own in 2001. He graduated with a BA degree from Whitman College in 1991 and later earned a General Management degree at Harvard Business School in 2000. His extensive network in the oil, gas, and mining sectors, as well as his experience in operating in many difficult, emerging markets, has made an enormous contribution to PRC so far.

Matthew Best, COO

Matthew Best has been Chief Operations Officer of Pacific Rim Constructors since 2013. After joining the organization in 2009, he has spent more than a decade overseas in a variety of capacities for PRC. From implementing initial-phase development strategies, to building strong teams in diverse environments, his experience in building and operating complex businesses is broad.

Matthew spent 2010 to 2013 founding and building PRC’s business in Papua New Guinea where he lived and worked in country. In 2013, he transitioned into his current role which included heading up the Eurasian business, where again he worked on the ground in the area. He received a BA in International Studies from Willamette University, and has attended a Management Program at Harvard Business School.

Keith Midkiff, CFO

Keith Midkiff has been Chief Financial Officer of Pacific Rim since 2008 and has many years of experience as a senior financial executive in dynamic, high-growth environments.

Before PRC, Keith served as Chief Financial Officer from 2003 until 2008 at Angie’s List, a homeowner solutions company, where he was instrumental in successfully placing multiple growth-related debt and equity offerings totaling $50MM+.

Prior to Angie’s List, he held a number of senior financial positions at Interactive Intelligence, a firm providing cloud-based communications solutions to corporations, including Chief Financial Officer. During his tenure, he helped guide Interactive Intelligence through its initial public offering (IPO) in 1999.

Keith also previously worked as Controller for Software Artistry, a customer relationship management (CRM) company that also successfully executed an IPO while he held a senior financial position.

Keith received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and finance from Ohio State University and an MBA degree with concentrations in entrepreneurship and finance from Indiana University.
